First we must congratulate Penny McCullagh
for her Birthday Guest Chef extravaganza.
Last week, Penny and her friends Judy and Linda
prepared a delicious Italian dinner for us and
Kim and Kathryn brought wonderful birthday cakes
to complete the celebration. We will next see
Penny's work as she tries to sweep the Super
Bowl hors d'oeuvre contest for yet another
year.
From Italy to the cuisine of
Cuba: Guest Chef Victor Early will show
his skills learned while living his early years
in the Florida Keys. He is planning a
genuine Cuban meal of Fried Plantains, Black
Bean Soup and White Rice, Grilled Artichokes
(his specialty) and finish with a Key Lime
Cheese Cake. That's good enough to get
Castro out of bed and on to EYC. You
should plan to make it too! Hasta La
Vista!
Special Note: After
Victor's dinner, only one more MNF
remains, the Famous Chicago Hot Dog show,
so if you want to see what all these events are
